Hey guys! I hope you enjoy my review of the Aromatica Sea Daffodil Cleansing Mousse. Comment below this post if you need any more clarification; I’d be happy to help!

Age: 25

Skin type: Sensitive, combination (dry in winter, oily in summer, can get oily from the wrong products)

Skin concerns: Moderate acne, hyperpigmentation, redness, itchiness from products

Climates I tested this in: Cold, dry, humid

Length of time tested: A few months

How often I used: Once a day (night)

How much I applied: About a golfball sized amount

Application method: With hands

  • the fact that it comes out already in foam form saves time and effort
  • doesn’t leave any oily or greasy residue, just a slightly moisturizing finish
  • takes off base makeup surprisingly well (but I wouldn’t 100% rely on it, as using makeup remover beforehand lets the cleanser more easily reach your skin)
  • has a mild herbal smell
  • doesn’t clog my pores or cause irritation/redness
  • no harmful alcohol/fragrance
  • bottle is sturdy plastic and the pump doesn’t feel like it’s going to break

  • the foam isn’t dense at all, feels more like suds
  • ratio of price/quality/amount is good ($22 for 150ml); the product runs out quickly
  • those who want more intense hydration will most likely not be satisfied
  • has several sensitizing and aggravating ingredients, according to the Paula’s Choice researchers, such as Citrus Limon Oil, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, and Papain

Sodium Cocoyl Apple Amino Acids are claimed to be skin conditioners and surfactants, as well as foam-boosters

Usnea Barbata (lichen) Extract is claimed to be a strong antibiotic, as well as healing ingredient because of its anti-inflammatory properties
